Welcome back everyone! It was an excellent holiday weekend, and I hope you all took advantage of the great weather. Saturday was the Leadville Heavy Half Trail Marathon. The entire event was very well run from the check-in, trail markers, aid stations, to the post-race volunteers. I want to thank everyone involved for putting on such an excellent event. I will definitly be back for more punishment next year. My finishing time was 3:07:58 for the 15 mile Heavy Half, finished 54th overall out of 215 finishers, and was 4th in my age division. I stayed very well hydrated (filled my Nathan water bottle at each aid station), maintained proper running form (for the most part), and really enjoyed myself. It was such a friendly and positive atmosphere with encouragement from volunteers, spectators, and other runners. Great times in the mountains!

LEADVILLE HEAVY HALF TRAIL MARATHON
Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 Todays workout is done as a circuit for 5 complete sets and will stress both energy pathways. Total jump rope time will be 40 min. I will be using lighter weight with the kettlebell to ensure proper form throughout the circuit.
